Comfort in Colors

Fall is a wonderful season full of bright and vibrant colors.

Psalm 119:76
O may Your loving kindness comfort me, According to Your word to Your servant.

There is comfort and energy in these most exciting colors.

Red, if a color of excitement, energy and strength.
Orange is full of warmth and enthusiasm.
Yellow wraps us with joy, happiness and hope.
Purple shows us wisdom and royalty.
Brown is a comfort for home and stability.

2 Corinthians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort

2 Thessalonians 2:16
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace

Being in God's Word each day gives me the most valuable time of comfort. I can relax and meditate on God and what He wants for my life. Then as I look outside and enjoy the fall colors I am reminded that my Father made this all... for us to enjoy. Oh what comfort that is.

The fall leaves may change colors  but God never  changes. Praise to our Heavenly Father.

Have a blessed day.

                                 Follow the Light

A few years back, I can now reflect on my situations concerning the care of my husband.
Many roads were ahead of me that I had never traveled.

I remember in my prayers to my Heavenly Father, that I would ask for wisdom and help as to what direction to take. As I had no idea.

I would by the hour scan through the Word and the Holy Spirit led me from one passage to another
and it was and is amazing how much comfort and peace I found, and still find.

Psalm 89:15
How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O Lord, they walk in the light of Your countenance.

Psalm 119:130
The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.

I remember that when John was in the VA hospital that they were having trouble finding a home for him that would be a good fit for his needs. I remember that a case worker called me from Multnomah county and said they would have to put him out........ I said you mean you would really release him out to live on the streets... I was horrified.

But God had another plan all coming in place.

The Lord did just that,  He came as a Light to me and showed me the steps to take. I called the case worker at the VA hospital and shared the desires of my heart and with in a couple days John was sent to the most wonderful home. The Lord showed me the way and led me with each step.

I still ponder these most wonderful verses.
Enjoy the Light of His Word.
Blessings to all.

Greetings family and friends.

Welcome to my new blog. I am looking forward to sharing many encouraging scriptures and stories with you. Life gives us many joys with many challenges.

But the Lord in His Wisdom leads us through.

This photo is of me and my dear sweet husband John, now with the Lord. We loved going to the beach, our favorite get away time. This photo was taken in Bandon Oregon.

John's very all time favorite song was Majesty.

Sing with me:

Majesty worship His Majesty
Unto Jesus, be all glory,
Power and praise
Majesty, Kingdom authority
Flow from His throne,
Unto his own, His anthem raise.

So exalt, lift up on high
The Name of Jesus
Magnify, come glorify,
Christ Jesus the King
Majesty, worship His Majesty
Jesus who died, now glorified,
King of all Kings.

John's love for the Word of God was a main stay in our marriage.

1 Chronicles 16:27
Honor and majesty are [found] in His presence; strength and joy are [found] in His sanctuary.

1 Chronicles 29:11
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and the earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and Yours it is to be exalted as Head over all.

All things belong to and come from God. Give God all the credit and glory for His love and provisions for us.

Have a blessed day in His Word.
